I will be scarce for a while, but peace and joy to you all — write and read on! For the moment, I leave you with this image and verse…

photorendering entitled: “Indian Beach Sunset”

Tides

(haiku)

the tide of life moves

one must ride the ebb and flow

we cannot change it

(tanka)

the tides of earth move

eternal their ebb and flow

man’s hand holds no sway

as sunrise beckons morning

sunset heralds end of day

You have been and will be missed, Rob. I hope you are not ailing.

Your little haiku is so true, and accepting of life’s vicissitudes. I pray that any you are suffering will soon become a thing of the past.

    Rob,
It’s totally lovely, the image and the profound truth you tap into. It’s both freeing and frightening. It’s a gracious note to depart on. I hope you’re off doing great things! Be well.
