I chose a modern tux that lends itself to ‘motion’, because I can be a dancin’ fool…

…but I also brought my retro disco threads in the event I really get carried away!

My artist wife Kathy is my lovely date for this grand affair…!

Joining my wife and I as part of our entourage is musician/poet/artist, Joni Mitchell…!
Perhaps we can convince Joni to grace us with a song or two…?

We will be arriving in my convertible, top down weather permitting.

I was thrilled to learn that a former singing partner of mine, David Oakley, will be able to join me. Of all my groups/bands during my many years performing, my time with David was one of my most favorite periods. With the blessing of Tess, our gracious hostess, and the permission of the group, it would be a pleasure to perform…!
I would like to thank Tess Kincaid for holding this wonderful annual event, and for being so kind as to invite to attend.
I am very excited and honored to be part of the festivities…! ![]()

You and Kathy do look divine, Rob. And it might be difficult to choose between being a dancing king and a singer here. Mrs. Miller has blown her pipes, it seems. Ella has disappeared. Melody is still crooning jazz hot at the piano, but if you and James get something going I would love to listen. Your Benz is a real classic. Thanks for bringing Joni; always wanted to meet her!

I’m looking forward to hearing your music. Perhaps your wife would let you join me for one dance?

Can’t wait to hear Joni Mitchell
It’s going to my highlight, unless I’ve already missed it…

Had NO idea you were so talented! My little feet couldn’t keep up with you … and your wife, just adorable! Such a pleasure meeting both of you.

Congrats Rob,
You serenaded us with most excellent music from the futuristic ’60s. Bertram and I forever remain in the roaring twenties. Forgive us, it’s a time warp thing, I know. Even so, I got a sneak peek at a lovely future, especially with that ever so talented and soulful long-haired doll, Joni Mitchell. I do believe she’s going places. And your jalopy? It was the cat’s meow - truly!
