Dreams Drift Through Reason

I created this piece to depict how vaporous, fluid dreams and imagination waft through our rigid, straight-up reason. This is the spark of inspiration. “Dreams Drift Through Reason” is a variation on my light series. The original is a giclée on dappled canvass, and measures 32″W x 48″H. This art pieces coordinates nicely with my new Haiku entitled “Vision”.

I have included a bonus haiku, written in the more traditional spirit of seasonal nature. The title of this bonus haiku is “Summer”.

Vision

(haiku)

reason stands rigid

dreams float enfolding logic

embrace sparks vision

Summer

(haiku)

lone leaf on clear pool

turns in gentle summer breeze

song bird softly sings

    Thank you!

I have a suite of four haiku up on my blog here called “Seasons“, in which I reflect on all four seasons of the year. It includes a spoken word recording.
