A noble sentiment and one that continues despite all the drama. Well done.

Although neither the world, nor the games, are quite as noble as perhaps they might be, I find the fact that they both still exist — an encouraging sign.

Hmm. The games yes, the current ridiculous argument over funding and constructing the venues in London we can well do without!

I’m of the hopeful mind that as long as the world continues willing to meet peacefully on the field of sport — their is still a real chance for humankind to find a way to live, someday, in peace.

I’m still a proponent that we give peace a chance.

    Hi Rob!
Very good. I’ll worry even more when countries sit out from the Olympics.

    Hi back! ;)

I’m glad you appreciated my little statement here. I agree, as long as countries still embrace the trappings of civility, there is the promise and hope of genuine civility — maybe even an outbreak of profound humanity.
