“Venus and The Sailor” by Salvador Dali, 1925
•
he felt the weight of her thigh
pressing against his
and the flesh of her hip
urgent against his groin
and the warmth
as he responded involuntarily
feeling a heat spread through him
a quickening of his pulse
as he swelled and swooned
growing rigid and eager
and a deep need overtook him
as he reached ’round her
firmly encircling her waist
with his great arm
bending her forward
with the mass of his body
and with his other hand
freeing himself
to enter her fully
consumed by her wetness
in a dance of dizzying desire
his urges hot and husky
on her ear and cheek
as he churned in slow pleasure
building in evermore lustful lunges
ever increasing in pace and tension
as they danced and danced
spinning into a carnal fury
until a great release
swept over them
and they melted together
in a fevered bliss
matching breath for slowing breath
and he bringing his lips
softly to the sweet nape of her neck
as they drifted to earth
entwined in the joy
and the afterglow
of love’s lingered embrace

Rob, I appreciate the “Rated R” posting at top – I do the same. This has the most important part of making real love in it – the shared pleasure, and the gentle floating back down to reality by lovers who have truly climaxed. Sensual, sexy, steamy… oh, Ah think Ah’m gitting the vapors! (wink) THANKS! Amy

Wow… well done. This is beautiful and sexy … you’ve maintained a wonderful balance of loving sexy hot … and I felt invited… included in a sense… I don’t mean that in a weird way… I just mean I was completely drawn in and mesmerized and tantalized… Very well written.

Serena, thank you for your wonderful comment. I have been most fortunate in that I have been in love with a woman for 25 years who has given me the gift of her steadfast heart, and an honest and enduring sexual relationship — one that is intimate and unselfish. We argue and we have our down moments, and we’ve had a crisis or two that has rocked our world — we are after all, human. But we are dedicated to each other, and we both enjoy sex. We each, by our nature, enjoy putting the needs and pleasure of the other above our own. In fact, we have the greatest pleasure knowing we are giving pleasure to the other. It is my biggest turn on, and she has shared with me that it is hers — and her actions over the years support her words. Believe me, I have been in sexual relationships prior to my wife that were nothing like what we have. We are now of an age that we are not always in the mood, pains and fatigue are part of our reality — but we are frequently, and when we are there are no barriers. My wife is, and always has been, a ‘hot’ lover. It’s a key reason why I find it easy and comfortable to write about making love. I am a lucky man, and I try to do my best to let my wife know, that I know it.

You captured the moment so well. Right up to the point of entry you seemed to be describing a dance – perhaps the Argentine Tango, which is incredibly sensual and suggestive when performed well.

Hi Rob– I’m a bit late to this party. I especially like these lines for their compression and originality of diction:
n a dance of dizzying desire
his urges hot and husky
on her ear and cheek
This writer/lover would only wish to hear that he reached around with that hand to massage her while he “lunged”, as that is the ultimate for us. xxxj

…oh how well I know it is Jenne…
…this encounter was one of ultra heightened urgency, and that urgency component circumvented certain elements of foreplay and attention, and it also facilitated their mutual ‘arrival’, even with the abbreviated format…

Beautiful, Rob…
