  1. Rob, as a retired teacher I will remember your “simple” poem. I am calling it “The beginning of the unwritten ‘Teacher’s Creed'”.
    ..

  2. Eighteen words of wisdom (yes, I counted them!) – the truth is not that hard to find, I think sometimes people can be too lazy to look. Succintly and poetically put Rob.

  3. Enjoyed this and feel it gets to the fear learning can evoke–once you see a little bit, there’s definitely more shapes looming out of the darkness.

    1. Learning doesn’t evoke fear Chrissa, it combats fear. Continued learning produces knowledge, eliminates superstition, promotes understanding and cooperation, and brings us into balance with each other and the world. Ignorance is the root of the human problem. People like Trump want to keep people ignorant so the he can control them with propaganda and other bullshit. One does not have to be in school to acquire education. There are a plethora of legitimate sources of genuine knowledge in this world. Seek out the reputable, not the fringe and distorted.

  4. Perfect thought to go with the image, Rob. We need to keep that lamplight burning bright for future ages, and for ourselves to build a better world.

    1. Yes True, we need to make education much more of a priority in this country. So much of the overall problem in this country has to do with a failing educational system. I am doing OK True, thank you for asking. Hope all is well with you — HAPPY HALLOWEEN! 🙂
