Think!

Adults argue about the shot
whether they should or should not
we arrogant adults apparently forgot
it’s our children we put on a deadly spot

children back to school sure sounds great
but first roll up their sleeves and vaccinate
then we dense adults can disagree argue and debate
but protect the innocent before it’s just too damned late

    1. Yes David, I speak out about their selfish and dangerous attitude. Yes, you have rights over your body, but they exit simultaneously with your responsibility to the society in which you choose to live. Not an easy balance to keep for some I guess. But in a pandemic, if you choose to live inside society, then you must temper your personal actions with societal safety. We have the right to fire a gun. But not down main street at rush hour. If all you care about is what you perceive to be your unalienable right not to be vaccinated, in times of a global plague — then go live alone in the woods… problem solved!

    1. They powers that be are thinking and acting powerlessly, and I understand the pressure that this ridiculous divide in our country, puts thrm under. But given we have vaccines, an effort made between now and December, to role out vaccines for school age children — then you enact the same requirements that currently exist for children to be vaccinated before attending school, to include COVID vaccine — then we can go back to school in January safely for the whole society. We were more realistic 20 years ago than we are today, regarding the necessity for children to be vaccinated to protect their, and the community’s health. We have simply gone bat shit mad as a society. Our global society truly seems to be coming to a major upheaval, even total collapse. It will start here in America, and domino around the globe. I am glad I am reasonably near death. I cry for my grandson Alex. I hope against hope that I am wrong.
