The Secret

~

from the dawn of awareness
through the dark times
beyond the ages of change
into these times

they have kept it
the keepers of the secret

and now
with great fortitude of will
to safequard frail truth
they must keep it still

    1. The great mystery – Who is the keeper of the secrets and will we ever solve the great mysteries? Perhaps, it’s best the secrets remain secret as I think some of mankind would exploit it for personal gain.

    2. People don’t seem to keep secrets today, instead they share their dirty washing with all and sundry on the Internet. As Viv said in her quadrille, we need to keep our hearts in our chests. I’m pleasantly surprised when there are secrets to be discovered, especially ones from the past, even when they’re not very pleasant. I love a mystery!

      1. All that is being flaunted as interesting, meaningful, and important in today’s world, is but drivel and triviality Kim, serving the purpose of keeping the shallow and foolish entertained and distracted. It is the era of “the dumbing”, that precedes the new dark times, from which the new age of wisdom will arise — when the enlightened few will reveal the secret, that will put an end to the fractured chaos of misguided dogmas of human construct, running rampant now as “inspired truth”. Thus, for once setting a united world upright, to again reach outward toward the authentic unknown, toward human destiny — expanding our genuine awareness, to finally take our place among the universal community. But currently, these are the times when the awakened, must embrace quiet patience.

      1. In this age of toxic falsehoods Paul, the sacrosanct secret must be kept, until the dawn of wisdom and truth again rises. Such enlightenment is not to be squandered on, or allowed to be tarnished by, even insignificantly, the ignorance of today’s idiots — who, in the rancor and acid of their hateful and meaningless bile, will dissolve to irrelevance in due time.

    3. I wonder if secrets would be as fascinating as they seems if it wasn’t for the fact that they are kept.
